Orange Tylomelania Sulawesi Rabbit Snail - a very unusual and colorful species of aquarium snails with Orange leg from the islands of Sulawesi (Indonesia).


Feeding:
Tilomelania snails have a wonderful appetite. Most of the day, they are in motion: they eat fouling on stones and snags, clean windows, can furrow the top layer of soil in search of food.

  • As food for Tilomelania suitable raw (can be boiled) vegetables: pumpkin, spinach, lettuce, zucchini. Snails will be happy to eat any food for bottom fish.
  • If you keep Tylomelania Snail with Sulawesi shrimp, it is better to feed specialized dry food .

    Reproduction Tilomelanii
    All snails Tilomelania heterosexual. It is impossible to visually distinguish a male from a female.
    These snails belong to the type of live animals. The female can lay two eggs, the size of which can reach 3-17 mm. After birth, the little snail is no longer dependent on the mother, and immediately begins to feed on their own. Babies eat the same food as adult snails.

    Tylomelanias multiply slowly in aquarium conditions, especially in the vicinity of fish. A separate aquarium is needed for their mass breeding.
