Bacopa salzmannii Purple

Purple Bacopa (Bacopa salzmannii 'Purple') is an attractive aquarium plant from the Plantaginaceae family, valued for its rich purple to burgundy leaf coloration. Under good conditions, the tips of the stems can develop particularly vivid purple shades.

It is a stem plant with a relatively slow to moderate growth rate. It is best planted in groups in the midground or background of the aquarium. Regular trimming encourages lateral shoots and helps create a dense, attractive bush.
