JBL Manado Dark is a neutral highly porous dark soil (substrate). Helps improve water quality and creates ideal conditions for the growth of aquarium plants.
The soil has an extremely porous surface where bacteria multiply. Unlike other nutrient substrates, JBL Manado Dark does not reduce water hardness.
The unique structure promotes root growth.
Properties of Manado:
- ideal for caring for plants in freshwater aquariums;
- porous structure promotes root growth;
- suitable for demersal fish;
- round shape of granules protects plant roots from mechanical damage;
- nutrient buffer with high iron content;
- absorbs excess nutrients and release them when needed;
- activates soil flora, accelerating colonization by beneficial soil bacteria;
- reduces unwanted algae growth, removes the load from the filter and purifies water;
- does not increase water hardness;
- emphasizes the rich color of fish due to the dark brown color that harmonizes with the green and red tones of plants;
- ready-to-use soil that should be rinsed once in tap water before use.
Application : this soil requires pre-washing, the recommended layer is 5-8 cm.
