Shirakura Red Bee Sand
Shirakura Red Bee Sand - soil (soil substrate) was specially developed by Takayuki Shirakura for breeding shrimp Bees (Bee Shrimp), Red Crystal (Crystal Red) and Black Crystal (Crystal Black). This soil is produced by special technology and consists of different types of burnt soils.
The main advantage of Shirakura Red Bee Sand is the ability to improve water performance important for shrimp breeding: reduces and stabilizes long-term carbonate water hardness (KN at 0-2) and acidity (pH 6.5 +/- 0.3). This avoids increasing the level of ammonia in the water and increasing the level of acidity.
If the total hardness (GH) is less than 5, it should be increased by adding SaltyShrimp Bee Shrimp Mineral GH + . Otherwise, shrimp may have problems with molting.
Shirakura Red Bee Sand does not contain any fertilizers or additives, so it is absolutely safe for shrimp. Its highly porous structure provides a large living space for the development of important microorganisms in the aquarium. This is especially important in the development of small shrimp.
For newborn shrimp, we recommend using a special feed from Shirakura Chi Ebi and SaltyShrimp Black Water Powder SE / Fulvin + conditioner to stimulate the development of important microorganisms in the aquarium. This is also very important when starting a new aquarium.
Application : This soil does not require pre-washing, it can be used immediately to start a new shrimp. The recommended layer is 4 cm. Fraction 2-4 mm.
