PH meter is a device for measuring the acidity level (pH) in any artificial reservoir and aquarium. The device is characterized by the speed of measurements and accuracy. When buying this device, it is possible to save money on buying a bunch of paper testers, the accuracy of which suffers and depends greatly on the human factor, because it is not always possible to accurately compare the color of the indicator paper with the color table.

• Remove the cap, turn on the pH meter with the ON/OFF button and immerse in the solution to the maximum level (up to the level of the closed cover);
• Stirring slightly, wait for the display reading to stabilize;
• After use, flush the electrode from possible contamination and turn off the device;
• Store the electrode with acidified buffer solution in a cap with a pH of 4;
• Always cover with a cap if you do not use the pH meter;
• Do not use distilled or osmotic water to store the electrode.

pH meter calibration:

Immerse the pH meter to the maximum level in buffer solution 4 or buffer solution 6.86 with a temperature of 25 С and stir the solution for 30 seconds. Wait for the measurement to stabilize on the display. Calibration is carried out by rotating the tuning screw clockwise and counterclockwise until the readings of the device coincide with the pH value of the fixed channel.
For aquarium studies, it is quite enough to calibrate the pH meter once every half a year.

IMPORTANT: Do not calibrate the pH meter in distilled or osmotic water.
